A grant from the United States Agency for International Development is funding a partnership between Emory University School of Law and Panamerican University in Mexico to develop a trial advocacy curriculum for Mexican legal education.
Panamerican University law professors and Mexican judges and lawyers will participate in Emory’s School of Law trial techniques program and will take courses at the law school in May 2010. Emory will also conduct intensive two-week training programs in Mexico City during the next three years. The grant will also fund scholarships for lawyers and students studying trial advocacy at Panamerican University.
