After a three-month lull, the legal sector saw its first month of job growth, according to monthly employment statistics released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics for the month of January.
Four hundred legal jobs were created in January as the industry saw only modest gains in employment levels, according to the report. Revised statistics from the Bureau show that legal services jobs decreased in both November (-900) and December (-1,600).
Overall, October had the most gain for the legal industry with 1,200 more jobs.
