New York University School of Law is one of the largest law schools in the nation. And it’s one of the best.
More than 400 private law firms, public interest organizations, government agencies, corporations and public accounting firms visit NYU Law to interview students. So it should be no shock that the school has one of the nation’s top employment rates.
Not all graduates gravitate to the Big Law firms, either. The school is one of the best when it comes to public interest law. It has 39 clinics, and first- and second-year students who work in government and nonprofit organizations are guaranteed summer funding.
NYU’s library is sixth best n the nation according to preLaw magazine. The school’s strengths are in tax, legal history, intellectual property, constitutional law and the law of democratic institutions. It’s located in the city’s tony Greenwich Village neighborhood.
