Basic Information

Pace University School of Law in White Plains, N.Y., is among the top nationally ranked environmental law schools in the country. Students interested in environmental law have the opportunity to gain practical experience by working in one of Pace Law’s world-renowned centers, including the Pace Energy and Climate Center, the Land Use Law Center and the Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic.

Pace Law offers other areas of concentration including intellectual property, criminal practice, real estate & land use, and public interest law. Qualified students may participate in the “Semester in Practice” program, a full-time supervised practice available to qualified students during their final semester.

“Pace Law School offers an exceptional value in a superb location,” said Dean David Yassky. “Our 'Path to Practice' curriculum provides students with innovative opportunities to gain practical, hands-on experience so they graduate ready to practice law from day one.”

Located 20 miles north of the heart and pulse of New York City, the hallmarks of Pace include experiential learning, faculty mentoring, rigorous skills training and cutting-edge, world-class programs. The majority of classes have fewer than 25 students, which enables close faculty-student relationships.

While expensive, Pace reports one of the lowest debt loads for graduates in the New York region.
