Stetson College of Law is not only Florida’s first law school established in 1990. The college also pioneered Florida into requiring pro bono service by students and faculty.
Over each of the past few years, Stetson law students completed more than 14,000 legal and non-legal hours of pro bono service, assisting people at more than 100 locations in Tampa Bay and across the state of Florida. The law school is in an active part of Tampa Bay metro area with its main law campus in Gulfport/ St. Petersburg and a satellite center in Tampa. Stetson Law is also one of few U.S. law schools that share a space with a working court, Florida’s Second District Court of Appeal.
The schools boasts a low student-to-faculty ratio at 8:1.
