With pro bono service, clinical training, externship opportunities and thoughtful, comprehensive academics, UCI law students and alumni are well prepared to make a difference in the legal field.
Launched with an approach to legal education rooted in practical, experiential training and public service, UCI Law revolutionized legal education when it opened its doors in 2009. The founders – students, faculty, staff and community partners – had a vision for a collegial institution dedicated to practice in service of the common good with a dedication both to pro bono and clinical work. Now in its second decade, UCI Law is a larger, stronger, more dynamic academic institution than its founders could have ever imagined.
UCI Law provides an innovative and comprehensive curriculum, and prioritizes public service and a commitment to diversity within the legal profession.
