Diversity, after students at University of California At Los Angeles School of Law reported tension regarding African-American students. After a video was released describing black students feeling isolated and marginalized, students reported materials regarding African-American events were ripped off the walls. In another incident, a student said she had received a note which said African-American students were too sensitive. The video was released by 2L Ronald Robertson. With only 33 African-Americans among the 1,100 students in the law school, the video was created as part of a campaign to raise awareness regarding the lack of diversity at UCLA. Robertson said students have made recommendations to the administration including additional scholarships for minority students, the creation of diversity training, and implementing a new position for a dean of diversity.
