University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law will launch new online law and graduate master’s degree programs in water, environment and government in fall 2019 and spring 2020.
The new online Master of Science in Law (MSL) will offer two concentrations: Government Law & Policy and Water & Environmental Law. The Sacramento, California, school has also launched an online LL.M. degree in Water & Environmental Law, targeted at J.D. graduates who want to expand their practice into a fast-growing specialty. These two new degrees join the McGeorge Certificate in Cannabis Law online program for lawyers and related professionals that launched in April 2018.
“Now, students from all over the world can learn water law and government law from McGeorge’s nationally – and internationally – acclaimed McGeorge faculty experts,” said McGeorge Dean Michael Hunter Schwartz.
Students in the online and residential (in-person) programs will receive the same degree, and the application process, admissions standards, academic requirements and curriculum is designed to be consistent for both degree delivery models.
