Thomas Cooley opens new branch in old Ave Maria building

Thomas M. Cooley Law School opened a branch in Ann Arbor this fall. They are taking over the space that housed the Ave Maria Law School, which relocated to Naples, Fla.

The 84,500 square foot campus will eventually employ 37 people, half of those being existing Cooley employees, said Don LeDuc, school president and dean. In addition to Lansing, Cooley also has campuses in Auburn Hills and Grand Rapids. Students will be admitted three times a year — January, May and September — just like the other campus locations.
