St. Thomas’s new LL.M. in environmental sustainability

The new intensive one-year LL.M. program at St. Thomas University School of Law equips students with specialized legal knowledge to become leaders in the field of environmental law.

The 24-credit program features a core curriculum including natural resource law and policy, environmental law, Earth jurisprudence and ecology and ecosystems management for lawyers, with a practice focus on the cutting edge principles of environmental sustainability.

In addition to required coursework, students can pursue their interests with a dynamic mix of elective courses providing in-depth study and specialization in fields including climate change law, international environmental law, land use planning, marine law and ocean policy and humans rights and the environment.
