Pace University School of Law in White Plains, N.Y., is among the top three nationally ranked environmental law schools in the country. Located just 20 miles north of the heart and pulse of New York City, students can explore a vast array of signature programs, including International Law, Criminal Justice and Public Interest Law.

Pace students interest in environmental law can work on conservation and development matters through the Land Use Law Center and renewable energy matters through the Pace Energy and Climate Center.

The hallmarks of Pace include experiential learning, faculty mentoring, rigorous skills training and cutting-edge, world-class programs, said Cathy Alexander, assistant dean for admissions at Pace. The majority of classes have fewer than 25 students, which enables close faculty-student relationships.

Its graduates, numbering over 7,000 throughout the country and worldwide, are highly experienced innovators with astute legal minds. A majority of graduates — 42.3 percent — go into private practice.

Other programs offered are the Master of Laws degree in Environmental Law, including the nation’s first graduate-level programs in Climate Change and Land Use and Sustainable Development, and Comparative Legal Studies and a Doctor of Laws in Environmental Law.
