Illegal immigrants, after Jose Godinez-Samperio, who graduated from Florida State University’s College of Law and passed the Florida Bar, was denied entry to the bar due to his illegal status. The 25 year-old’s parents moved into the U.S. on a travel visa when Jose was nine, and never left. Godinez-Samperio is appealing the ruling.
Confidentiality, after Baylor Law School sent personal information on its 450 admitted students to the entire class. An administrator sent an email to accepted students about a deadline extension, and inadvertently included an attachment, that showed the names, ethnicity, GPAs, LSAT scores and scholarship offers for all students.
