Nebraska: Biggest gets bigger

It was a GOOD WEEK for the big getting bigger, after University of Nebraska announced it was breaking ground on a  $4.5 million addition to its law building to house clinical programs.

Nebraska already boasts the most square-feet per law student in the country, with 937. The average law school is just slightly more than 200 square-feet per student.

The new 14,000-square-foot facility will increase total square footage to 384,000. It is scheduled to open in summer 2016 and will replace a smaller outdated space.

The new building is possible because of private donations, including two $1 million donations.
