Albany to affiliate, but stay independent

It was a GOOD week for independence after Albany Law School, one of only a handful of remaining independent law schools, announced it would affiliate with University of Albany, but remain an independent institution. The affiliation will allow the two institutions to share some resources and offer expanded course and degree offerings. The two institutions signed a memorandum of intent and expect the affiliation to be final by October.
