At times the idea of artificial intelligence infiltrating the legal space has garnered both supporters and critics. In light of this, Albany Law School wants to educate their students on how to use AI-based tools such as ChatGPT in effective ways. This includes things such as getting help brainstorming for research keywords to use in databases such as Lexis and Westlaw.
But for the sake of adding in some fun to this topic, Albany Law professor Victoria Esposito decided to get some help from ChatGPT to create a story about a land contract minus the legal jargon and have it presented in Edgar Allan Poe-style writing. The result was a story about a Raven and a land contract with a slightly eerie vibe.
You can view the narrated story created by Esposito below and enjoy the classical take on property contracts yourself.
