Taking a controversial stand, after Rush Limbaugh called Sandra Fluke, the Georgetown law student who spoke at a Congressional hearing about contraception, a “slut.” Limbaugh said “she’s having so much sex” that health insurance should cover her birth control. President Obama called Fluke to tell her that her parents should be proud of her for speaking out for women.

World domination, after Harvard Law School was named the best law school in the world, beating out Oxford and Cambridge, both in England. Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings compiled the ranking. QS based its rankings on academic reputation, employer reputation, and citations per faculty member. Other U.S. law schools at the top of the chart include Yale, Stanford and UC-Berkeley.
