Drake University collabs with Coe College in new 3+3 program

Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa has partnered with Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to launch a 3+3 J.D. degree partnership program that will allow students to receive two degrees in only six years.

Coe College will be the eleventh school to join Drake Univeristy in a 3+3 partnership. Through this program, students complete three years of full-time undergraduate study, use law school courses to meet the balance of required undergraduate credits and receive their bachelor’s degree after the first year of law school.

“We are proud to partner with Drake University to offer this 3+3 program,” said Coe College’s president, David Hayes. “This opportunity provides crucial flexibility for students to pursue an advanced degree in a way that fits their needs.”

This program gives an opportunity for students to earn their law degree faster and save on a year of tuition and other costs.
