Top law schools for estate planning law
Oklahoma City University School of Law continues to expand its focus on estate planning and tribal law through certificate programming and clinic work. Nearly 30 students are pursuing the Estate Planning Certificate during the 2025–26 academic year, supported by networking events that bring together students, alumni and practitioners. The school’s Jodi Marquette American Indian Wills Clinic remains a central part of that effort. In 2025, the clinic served members of 22 tribal nations and prepared 117 estate plans protecting families and tribal lands, including work completed through an advanced clinic that allowed students to assist with probate matters involving restricted tribal property. Since its launch, the clinic has drafted more than 1,100 wills and served members of more than 40 tribes across Oklahoma.

The scores are figured as follows: 30% for a concentration, 24% for a clinic, 12% for a center, 12% for an externship, 9% for a journal, 8% for a student group, 5% for a certificate and added value for additional offerings.
