Insurance industry practitioners, law professionals or individuals with a law degree seeking specialized expertise in insurance law can now enroll in a new graduate certificate program at the University of Connecticut School of Law.
The program, developed by the school’s Insurance Law Center, offers practical and theoretical training from nationally recognized faculty and leverages UConn School of Law’s strong ties to the insurance industry.
Courses will be available both online and in person, with evening options designed for working professionals. Enrollment is open for the spring 2026 semester.
“The program allows working professionals to get focused training in all kinds of foundational and cutting-edge insurance law topics,” said Travis Pantin, associate professor and director of the Insurance Law Center. “For someone who is looking to boost their knowledge of the field generally, or to dive deep into a particular set of topics relevant to their practice, this will be really useful.”
Applicants must hold a law degree, an advanced degree in a related field or have significant legal or insurance experience.
