University of Toledo selects interim dean

The University of Toledo’s College of Law has appointed Daniel J. Steinbock to serve as interim dean for one year, beginning July 1.

Steinbock has been a part of the UT College of Law faculty for nearly 25 years and boasts the title of Harold A. Anderson Professor of Law and Values.

“I look forward to working with faculty and staff in maintaining and enhancing the college’s academic success, community involvement, and national reputation,” Steinbock said. “The biggest challenge is in reaching these goals in a tough economic environment.”

Steinbock’s breadth of knowledge and familiarity with the college won him the position while a search committee seeks a permanent dean in the next year.
