Virginia, Stanford top Princeton Review rankings

The University of Virgina offers the best quality of life for law students, and Stanford Law School offers the best classroom experience, according to Princeton Review’s annual rankings.

The Princeton Review tallied its rankings based on surveys of 18,000 students attending 168 law schools over the past three years. The 80-question survey asked students to rate multiple attributes of their schools including their professors and fellow classmates.

While Princeton Review does not rank the law schools hierarchically, it does break them out for different categories.

“Only one of our lists is based on quantitative data, all the others are based on studnet opinion,” said Robert Franek, publisher at The Princeton Review. “We are providing a source where they can hear from the real experts — current students. This has to be in the arsenal of what a prospective law student needs.”
